Commemorating the Legacy of Stewart Spence MBE

That the Parliament mourns the passing of Stewart Spence MBE, a distinguished Aberdeen hotelier who, it understands, significantly contributed to the region's tourism and hospitality sector; recognises his 55-year career marked by what it considers as exceptional leadership and vision; acknowledges his founding role in the Grampian Hotel and Catering Training Association; commends his commitment to Aberdeen's economic growth through the oil industry era; celebrates his achievements in establishing the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa as a landmark of luxury, and pays tribute to his enduring impact on Scotland's hospitality industry.
