That the Parliament congratulates Diversity Bridge in Aberdeen on being shortlisted as a finalist in the Inspirational Charitable Organisation category in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Scotland Awards; notes that Diversity Bridge promotes equality, diversity and inclusion while providing support and relief to ethnic minorities, including refugees and asylum seekers, who are facing various challenges in their lives, including the prevention of, or relief from, poverty; understands that the awards, which will take place on 21 February 2025 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, will celebrate organisations and individuals who have made a significant impact on mental health and wellbeing across Scotland, and that the Inspirational Charitable Organisation category specifically acknowledges charities that demonstrate exceptional leadership and innovation in supporting mental health initiatives and making a positive difference in their communities; believes that this shortlisting recognises Diversity Bridge’s contributions to promoting mental health and wellbeing through its diverse range of charitable initiatives in support of ethnic minorities and underserved communities, and wishes its founder, Edward Obi, and the rest of his team all the very best in the final ceremony.
