That the Parliament welcomes that Forth Valley College's forthcoming Open Evening and Careers Fair have attracted a record number of companies; understands that the events, which aim to promote the college's courses and training, as well as job opportunities, will take place on 4 March 2025, at its Stirling Campus, and 6 March 2025, at the Falkirk Campus, both of which have been arranged to coincide with Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025, and will run from 4.00 to 8.00 pm, providing prospective students with the chance to learn more about the wide range of course opportunities available; acknowledges that much of these opportunities will include full-time courses for August 2025 entry, partnership degrees with some of Scotland’s leading universities, Modern Apprenticeships, school partnership provision, including Foundation Apprenticeships, evening courses, industry training courses, and flexible and online learning programmes; notes that attendees and participants will have the opportunity to speak to more than 25 employers that are potentially taking on apprentices and recruiting for jobs; further notes that the events will also serve as an opportunity for potential students and their families to view the college’s buildings and meet its teams, which can assist them to make an informed decision about which course will suit their needs; congratulates Forth Valley College on this and its many excellent endeavours, and wishes Forth Valley College and its students all the very best for success in their courses.
