Celebrating World Autism Acceptance Month in Glasgow

That the Parliament congratulates everyone who took part in the National Autistic Society Scotland’s 5km outdoor charity event held at Glasgow Green on 5 April 2025 to mark World Autism Acceptance Month; recognises the efforts of the 70 participants, including autistic people and their families, who came together in warm weather to walk in celebration of acceptance, inclusion and greater public understanding of autism; notes that the event formed part of a series of marches across the UK aimed at promoting autism acceptance and challenging stigma; commends the National Autistic Society Scotland for organising this important event and for its continued work in supporting autistic people across the country, and encourages everyone to learn more about autism and take positive steps to build a more inclusive society.
