Eastwood Schools Win Prizes at Annual Dance Event

That the Parliament offers its congratulations to the schools and pupils who participated in the East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure Dance Championships for 2025 and won prizes; recognises that for the primary school championships, St Cadoc's Primary School was named as winner in the hip hop category, Netherlee Primary School secured the open category award and that Mearns Primary School won a trophy for its cheer performance; acknowledges that pupils from Isobel Mair School opened the secondary school championships and that St Ninian's High School achieved the hip hop and cheer awards; notes that Eastwood High School was used as the venue for this year's event and that the 2025 championships were held over two evenings, and understands that the competition, which was hosted by East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, is an annual dance championships and that the purpose of the event is to celebrate the outstanding talent of dancers who attend schools in the local authority.
