That the Parliament congratulates Major (Retd) Charlie Pelling on being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to veterans in The King’s Birthday Honours 2025; understands that Charlie has served as manager to Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory in Edinburgh for 18 years, supporting the production of millions of poppies for the annual Scottish Poppy Appeal; commends Charlie for his years of hard work in supporting armed forces veterans, and wishes Charlie and all those at Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory well.
